Brady McDonald ran 1,553 miles to grant 100 wishes for children with critical illnesses. He teaches audiences how to find a purpose bigger than themselves, and what becomes possible once they have one.
Brady McDonald was an overweight father of two who drank too much and had never run a race in his life. The first thing he changed wasn’t his fitness. He got sober. His wife, Kristy, and their two daughters have been with him every mile since.
Then, to prove to himself the change was real, he entered a 50-mile ultramarathon. He won it and spent the following days in a hospital bed with rhabdomyolysis. Most people would have given up. He entered a 100-miler instead, then the Moab 240, then the Arizona Monster 300, a 300-mile desert crossing. For years he ran them for himself, and it worked, right up until it didn't.
Somewhere in those miles, the mission became clear. The legs he had built were meant for more than personal records. They could help children living through the hardest days of their lives. That’s where his biggest challenge was born: Zero to 100 Wishes.
A 50K in every state, 50 days in a row, to raise $1 million and grant 100 wishes. No one had ever done it. He crossed the finish line in Honolulu on September 12, 2026, with every dollar of that million raised for Make-A-Wish America.
Brady reveals what real transformation demands, and shows audiences what becomes possible when they start running for something bigger than themselves.
Your keynote wasn’t only polished, it was powerful and passionate. There wasn't a dry eye in the room. I've spoken to many members since, and unsolicited they've told me how powerful that talk was and how it moved them. That's the most we've ever raised for a charity cause at a single event, $200,000, more than we've raised for any other cause going back a decade plus.
I was fortunate enough to witness Brady's keynote at Boardroom, and it was so impactful that I pulled my credit card out right away and donated $10,000 to Make-A-Wish. There were so many tactical things in there, everything he had to overcome, and then he tied it to a cause bigger than himself. I was tearing up. One of the most powerful keynotes I've ever heard.
Brady rocked the crowd at my Financial Freedom Conference. He was energetic, positive, inspiring, motivating and I will definitely be inviting him back for my next event. Can not recommend him enough if you're looking for an amazing keynote speaker!
Brady has amazing energy and kept the audience engaged the entire time! His stories were both entertaining and inspirational and tied back directly to his key takeaways. After the event multiple people gave me testimonials about how impactful his message was and how thankful they were to be in the audience. We’ll definitely have Brady back in the future!
Brady had the room buzzing! Everyone was so inspired by his story and he was the most talked about presentation of our mastermind. Brady is so professional, extremely engaging and his success in business and his personal life is a testament to that. I can't thank him enough for presenting to our group and we look forward to having him back!
